

Robin Lutz moved to Colorado after she graduated from the University of Michigan in 1993. After three years working as a paralegal in family law, Ms. Lutz attended law school at the University of Colorado School of Law. She graduated with highest honors in 2002. Since graduation, Ms. Lutz’s practice has focused primarily on all aspects of family law, including dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, step-parent adoption, relocation, and post-dissolution issues.
During law school, Ms. Lutz served as an editor for the University of Colorado Law Review. She won two awards for her law review article: “Experimenting With Death: An Examination of Colorado’s Use of the Three-Judge Panel in Capital Sentencing,” 73 Colo. L. Rev. 1, 227 (Winter 2002).
Ms. Lutz is committed to serving Colorado’s community. From 1997 through 2000, Ms. Lutz worked as a Victim Advocate for the Commerce City Police Department. In 1999, she received a Unit Citation for the victim advocacy she provided to family members of victims of the Columbine school shooting. From 2005 to the present, Ms. Lutz has worked as a Special Advocate for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center. In Michigan, Ms. Lutz served as an On-Call Counselor to victims of domestic violence for the Domestic Violence Project, Inc.
