

Lesleigh Monahan is a partner in the Lakewood firm of Polidori, Franklin & Monahan, LLC. Ms. Monahan has been practicing law, exclusively in domestic relations since 1988.
She graduated from the University of Colorado/Boulder with distinction, receiving a B.A. in History in 1983. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1987.
The Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers has proffered an AV rating on Ms. Monahan and she has been accepted for Fellowship in the Colorado Bar Foundation. She is also listed in “The Best Lawyers in America." In 2006 and 2008, Ms. Monahan was recognized as one of Colorado's top 50 lawyers and she has been selected as one of Colorado's top 25 women lawyers on the Colorado Super Lawyers® list published by 5280 magazine for the past three consecutive years.
In 2002, Ms. Monahan was appointed by Supreme Court Justice Mary Mullarky to serve on the Colorado Supreme Court Standing Committee on Family Issues for a three-year term. Her appointment was extended in 2005 for an additional two year term. She was admitted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Colorado Chapter in 2004.
Ms. Monahan is a long time member and officer of the Family Law Section Executive Council and was Chair of the Section in 2002-2003. During her tenure on the council, she has acted as Chair of the Amicus Committee, Co-Editor of the Family Law Column in The Colorado Lawyer, Chair of the Judicial Education Committee , Chair of the Pro Bono Flying Squad ans served two years on the Legislative Committee. She served on the Planning Committee and Faculty for the Colorado Family Law Institute in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. She was appointed in 2007 as the Co-Chair of the Family Law Section Task Force on Family Courts to conduct a two-year study of the viability of implementation of a unifed family court system in Colorado.
